Must be an expert in WordPress to work with our design and SEO team to develop, support, and optimize WordPress sites. We develop amazing websites. We are looking for a developer who can take a PSD and create a pixel-perfect site and amazing mobile experience. An eye for design is essential so you can carry the branding, look, and essential design elements throughout the site to create a highly professional cohesive look.

We develop our sites in the Avada theme so that our SEO team and customers have a consistent, easy-to-use platform. Our sites are hosted on AWS. Experience with these is a plus.

We require a minimum of 5-years web development experience in a fast-paced marketing agency.

We are looking to hire an A+ player with amazing communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail. Professionalism and a love of working with people both face-to-face, in our office or through video calls is critical. Exceptional writing skills are essential.

ADVAN is a small but fast-growing web design and SEO company serving Akron, Cleveland, and Canton, Ohio.

To be considered for this position, please outline all your WordPress, digital marketing experience, SEO, SMM, and Shopify skills, we would love to see samples of content writing and graphic design if you have that too. Salary requirements are a must.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Maintain a website support desk for all clients

Support our design team with new website development

Perform site optimization for speed, latest performance plugins, and CDNs

Maintain our hosting servers, perform updates, and implement best practices

Provide backup for overflow of print/graphic design work

Respond to client requests swiftly and courteously

Skills and Qualities:

Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Word

A thorough understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and jQuery

Ability to plan ahead and recognize website potential opportunities/pit falls

Must possess professional communication skills, have great attention to detail, and remain organized

Willingness to improve and follow processes

Ability to document your work and teach others

Experience with the Avada theme, SpinupWP, AWS, media queries, FTP, Shopify, Jotform, and Bootstrap are all a plus.
